At Furever Perfect Pups, we begin our early learning curriculum on day 3, before the puppies’ eyes and ears have opened. During this crucial stage, we introduce natural aromas to awaken their sense of smell and use gentle touch and movement to stimulate neurological pathways in the brain. This structured protocol continues through day 16, supporting their early development as they transition from their pod to becoming active, curious puppies—toddling, interacting, eating, and learning to eliminate on their own.
By week three, we focus on sound exposure, introducing everyday noises like thunderstorms, fireworks, vacuums, and other household sounds. These early introductions help desensitize our puppies before they enter the fear period, allowing them to develop confidence and a calm response to unexpected noises throughout their adult lives.
Additionally, we expose our puppies to a variety of textures, environments, and stimuli to encourage adaptability and confidence. These early-life experiences create a strong foundation for well-adjusted, social, and resilient companions, ready to thrive in their furever homes.
